Connect Data Sources

Use this section to choose a data source, configure a connection, and understand how connection changes affect your project.

Before you connect​

  • Gather the connection details for your database or file-based source.
  • Connection settings vary by data source, so use the connector-specific guide for the exact fields and requirements.

To create a connection, click a data source in the Connect a data source section.

Update an existing connection​

To change connection properties, go to Settings > Data source settings.

Remove a connection​

Removing a connection currently requires resetting the whole project.

Use Settings > Data source settings if you only need to update connection details. Reset the project only when you want to discard the current project setup and start over.

To remove the current connection, go to Settings > Project settings and reset the project.

After the reset, you will need to create a new connection and set up the project again.
