Create Project

As the organization admin, you can create projects under your organization through the navigation bar.

Once the project is created, you can set up a data source connection and start asking questions in your project.

Note the synchronization of data from the data source can take some time. To enable a smooth experience and the ability to answer questions with complete data, you will need to wait for the data to be completely sync.

Project Settings

General​

Update Project Name​

As the project owner, you can modify the display name of your project through General.

Access Control​

In the Access control section you can manage the access and rights of users within this project. Only users with the permission of Project Owner are able to manage the project.

To see what permissions you have on the table of access control go to the Permission column where the role will be listed based on the user. Learn more about roles within a project to the RBAC page.

Currently we only support project owner role for project access control.

Add Member​

To add a member to your project, the user should be invited to the organization first.

Click Add member, choose the organization member you want to grant project access to and the project permission to grant them.

After adding the user to the project, this user can start asking question with connected dataset.

Update Member Permission​

As the project owner, you can modify the role of each user in your project.

Find the user you want to modify, click on the Permission dropdown menu.

You cannot modify your own role.

The organization admin will have owner permission of all projects under the organization by default. You cannot modify the role of the organization admin.

Remove Member​

The project owner role has the ability to remove other users from the project.

Click the Remove button on the user row to remove that user completely from the project.

The removed users will no longer access the project and the ask records within the project.

You cannot remove the organization admin from the project.

Data Source​

The project owner role can create or update the data source connection in Data Source.

If you have not set up the data source connection, you can continue on the set up process.

If you already set up the data source connection, you can view and edit the data source connection information.

Danger Zone​

Only the organization admin can delete the project in Danger Zone.

Delete Project​

You can delete any projects within your organization by clicking the Delete project button.

Once the project is deleted, the ask records will be no longer accessible to all owners and members. Please note this action can NOT be undone.

You cannot delete the project if it is your last accessible project within the organization.
